Congradulation to Pat Brown, our 2008 ECCB Open Car Show "Best of Show" winner . Her White/red 1955 Chevy Bel Aire with matching trailer stole the show. Hope to see you all next year. RRL
Introduction
The El Caminos Club of Bakersfield was established to
provide support, service, and fellowship to a growing number of car
enthusiasts. Too many are turned away from car clubs because of the lack
of benefits that the club can offer an individual. We, at ECCB, intend to
supply bonified benefits to our membership base. We will promote the
development of friendship, as well as offer hands-on participation of
projects. Plus, we enjoy the unique position of being the only club
in Kern County dedicated primarily to the Chevy El Camino. Silver
level and higher, will be able to purchase parts, wheels & tires,
meals, etc from our sponsoring & affiliate businesses.
We meet on the 1st Saturday of each month at Cataldos
Pizza on Real Road where Hwy 58 ends, The meetings are from 6:00PM
to 9:00PM in the banquet rooms.
It is not necessary to be a paying member in order to
attend any of our meetings, nor is necessary to own an El Camino. However,
we do focus on the preservation, restoration, and modification of 1959 -
1987 Chevy El Caminos, and their unique qualities.
